Uni Wrong are a band, and therefore, by definition, are "a self induglent waste of time and money."

We are a four piece band from Sunderland UK. I would make mention of the fact that we play fast, melodic, punk rock music with an occasional hint of ska/reggae/grime, but would not want us to be resigned to already stagnant genres replete with redundant and repetative "music".

Neither do we want to come accross as harderned morons who make claim to be original or above anybody else. We just enjoy making music and listening to bands that have something interesting/revelatory/insightful to say, and in a new or compelling way; play music that strikes us as passionate, exciting, or groundbreaking; and is in no way looking to make a living off their band.

When people think of the band, or about the individuals that form it, we hope they regard us as honest and sincere (Lee when he is drunk notably exluded).

That is really all that matters.

We formed back in 2004 as a 3 piece. Made a sucky demo in 2005 and played a few shows. In 2006, we stepped up our game a little, producing 2 more demos and playing lots of shows. In summer 2006 we acquired our second guitarist and wrote many new songs, 3 of which were professionally recorded in 2007 to great fanfare*. In 2008, we are focusing on writing 4 new songs for a split record with some good friends, possibly touring and playing quality local shows.

I would list the amazing bands we have played with since our inception, but that would be bragging. Some really cool people have been offended by our audio though, I assure you.
